Security Auditing – Safer Physical Security Audit for Security Companies

For quality, diligence, and discipline, take advantage of our security auditing service—the first of its kind—designed to improve protection of your physical assets. At Secex, we have designed the first Safer Physical Security Audit 2025, designed to ensure security operatives provide you with the agreed level of service. Security Officers often become complacent on duty, leading to increased security risk such as sleeping on duty, asking for financial handouts and other unprofessional behaviours. These lapses not only frustrate clients who pay and rely on these services for protection but also increases security vulnerabilities in our homes and communities.

To close the gap, Secex Ltd now provide a six-day Level 2 Professional Physical Security course for security officers, where they will learn administrative responsibilities and professional skills required for their roles. Officers are expected to comply with their training standards, which will be audited during our unannounced visits on site where they operate. Our visits will benefit both the customers as well as the security company being represented, through identifying opportunities for improvement.

Our audits cover:

  • Professional Conduct – Access control, Surveillance
  • Administrative Responsibilities – Completing record keeping
  • Communication – Radio communications, Reporting, Interactions with public
  • Training Requirements – Refresher trainings or required site specific training
  • Emergency Preparedness – Incident management e.g First Aid, Crisis management
  • Customer Satisfaction – Sustainable and healthy business relationship between both client and security company

With our detailed reporting and actionable recommendations, you gain proactive approach to identify current security issues and potential security threats to assets, employees, and operations. Of course, this will not totally resolve gaps in security concerns, however this is a community lead initiative which will contribute to a safe society, one company after the other.
